Volunteer-led community basketball
Based in Glasgow's West End

Our mission is to provide affordable and fun team basketball for all. We began with team development for women and non-binary people. And have pursued funding to enable the launch of new provisions for girls and non-binary children, or synchronised parent and child practices over weekend slots in future.

The club has ways to help with your basketball costs if needed: session fees, transport, child care etc – please ask.

Recreational Basketball
With a focus on women and non-binary players, our club began with a welcoming open recreational practice on Sunday afternoons that receives new members and continues to run today.

Glasgow Ravens
During 2024 we established our senior (18+) women’s and non-binary league team. This team has structured training, plays in friendly tournaments, and played it’s first season in the Strathclyde local league under its senior (18+) women’s division.

Social
Beyond on-court training, members meet for a range of enjoyable social activities, and can also access discounted tickets to attend WBBL and BBL matches with the Caledonian Gladiators.

Club Outlook
With an initial focus on Women and Non-binary players for our local league team as well as our open Sunday recreational group, our club provides further fun socials and hopes to support extra special provisions each summer off-season. Plus, our Club aims to actively develop interested members as new coaches and officials to support Glasgow’s basketball community. And potentially assisting junior players in future!
